The Conversation Has Started. Will You Join It?

What began as a pledge to change our industry’s mental health culture has evolved into a program that brings real, stigma-shattering engagement directly to your jobsite. Championed by our Lead Program Partner, the Ontario Mining Association, Bring It to the Surface is now available to your team — across Ontario and throughout Canada — so you can have a true impact, equip supervisors, and drive real-world utilization of mental health resources wherever your operations are located. This isn’t an HR initiative, it’s a safety essential.

Why This Matters To Your Business

In diamond drilling, a crew’s strength is measured by retention, focus, and safety. Silence around mental health is a measurable risk. Our industry’s EAP programs are under-utilized (6% uptake) because policies alone don’t connect with workers. But people do.

Your Partnership Ensures:

  • Fewer Incidents: A strong correlation between mental health and on-site safety.
  • Better Retention: Showing care for your people is the most effective talent strategy.
  • Culture Shift: Moving from a “tough it out” mindset to one of proactive, open communication.

The Clint Gore Difference

The most valuable asset in this program is authentic connection. We trust the story from the field, not the manual from the office.

As a Presenting Partner your brand is aligned with Clint Gore’s high-impact speaking and engagement sessions. Clint’s powerful, lived experience breaks through years of stigma to normalize conversations and give workers permission to finally ‘Bring It To The Surface.’ Your brand will be the enabler of this critical, on-site breakthrough.

When You Join The Conversation, You Save Lives

For your investment, you’ll not only be helping change industry culture, you’ll have a meaningful impact on your team and your brand.

Staff Engagement & Culture Building

This is the “secret sauce”. There’s no replacement for having a credible third party engage with your people to create a safe space for communication. Nothing against you and your team – it’s just human nature that we respond differently to those who are not part of our everyday world. Once Clint opens the door for sharing, others will walk through it.

1 – Full Day Visit

Clint shares his story with your team in-person, creating an environment for vulnerability and reflection. His delivery is unflinching, allowing the audience to recognize the same patterns in their own lives. It takes one to know one.

2 – Fireside Chat

Connecting with staff, creating open dialogue about mental health. Participants have shared that this is the most impactful part of the experience, often sharing personal experiences with co-workers for the first time.

3 – Clint Gore Weekly Gratitude Journal

Reinforcement is the key to changing culture. You and your team will have one year access to this vital component of the program. The virtual journal creates a space for reflection and a positive mindset moving forward.

4 – Training

You’ll have access to expert trainers, including Angele Poitras, widely recognized as a subject matter expert in remote and FIFO work environments and mental health, with extensive experience training and presenting to hundreds of individuals across remote sites. You’ll be able to keep the conversation going with accredited, leading edge methods of health and wellness engagement.

5 – Video Recap

Take a moment to mark the occasion with your team and reinforce the muscle memory needed to change culture. A branded, 15-30 second video commemorating the on-site experience will provide positive reflection internally and on social channels, if you choose.

6 – CDDA EFAP Program & Webinars

This is where the rubber meets the road. As culture shifts, you’ll have access to our CDDA EFAP Program and Monthly Webinars to connect people with resources to increase uptake and have a meaningful effect on your organization’s mental health and wellness. Together we’ll turn the ship around and increase EFAP usage in a measurable way.

Leadership & Brand Value

Showing your team that you walk-the-walk is not only good for changing culture, it also tells your partners and stakeholders you are leading the way to improved health and wellness in our industry.
