Shannon Austin-Nault is an accomplished Human Resources professional with more than a decade of experience in employee relations, workforce management, and organizational development within the drilling and resource industries. She began her HR career with Boart Longyear, where she dedicated seven years to supporting a diverse workforce and driving HR initiatives that enhanced operational efficiency and employee engagement.
In 2017, Shannon transitioned to Foraco Canada, continuing her commitment to excellence in Human Resources. Over the years, she has become a trusted advisor and leader within the organization, known for her professionalism, integrity, and strong understanding of both people and operations. Her work has been instrumental in fostering a positive and compliant workplace culture that aligns with corporate goals and industry standards.
Before her HR career, Shannon served her community with distinction as a 911 Dispatcher and Special Constable with the New Liskeard Police Service, where she developed exceptional communication, crisis management, and decision-making skills. In addition, she volunteered for more than 10 years with the Ontario Provincial Police Auxiliary, demonstrating her long-standing dedication to public service and community safety.
Beyond her professional achievements, Shannon is a widow and devoted mother, raising her daughter with resilience and strength. Her personal journey reflects the same determination, compassion, and leadership that define her professional life.
