The federal government is conducting consultations on producing a Canadian Poverty Reduction Strategy. The general public can provide their input and comments through the Government of Canada website. The mineral exploration and mining industry provides many opportunities for employment and income throughout the entire country and we would like to suggest that companies submit stories on how industry contributes to poverty reduction.
