June Supplier Member of the Month: Core Case

  • July 6, 2026
  • Ashley Leduc
  • Member of the Month

The Canadian Diamond Drilling Association is pleased to announce Core Case as our Supplier Member of the Month. We interviewed a member from their company to learn more about their services and membership with the CDDA.

Can you tell us more about your company?

Core Case is a company established in the mining industry and present in most of the sector’s major companies. The company owns a unique and innovative product in the mineral exploration market: core boxes made from 100% recycled plastic, designed with a focus on smart technology, durability, and ergonomics. This innovation has positioned Core Case as a key market player.

With operations in Canada, Brazil, and ongoing expansion across South America, Core Case develops solutions tailored to the needs of the mineral exploration and extraction market — strengthening its competitiveness on a global scale.

The manufacturing process includes an in-house laboratory for material testing and analysis. Core Case is ISO 9001 certified and holds a Zero Waste certification, ensuring that waste generated in the factory is reused to the fullest extent possible.

What Products and Services Do You Offer?

In addition to core boxes, we develop technology solutions that enable full traceability from extraction to storage. The positive environmental impact is significant: over 7,300 tonnes of plastic have been reused, helping to preserve more than 133,000 trees and preventing the emission of over 818 tonnes of CO₂ by replacing wood with recycled plastic.

The company’s purpose is to add value to the operations of major natural resource extraction companies — including mining, oil, and gas — by prioritizing long-term sustainability through solutions that combine design, functionality, and safety in geological core sample storage.
Core Case also has two key extensions:
• Core Case Tech: a digital platform for tracking and managing drilling core samples.
• Core Case Collection: a line of sustainable clothing and accessories

Why is being a CDDA Member important to your company?

Since its foundation, Core Case has been aligned with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles, recognized as a responsible and investment-ready company which aligns with CDDA values of promoting environmental stewardship. The Core Case factory has an in-house lab to ensure the quality of recycled raw materials, testing for durability and resistance. An internal grinding system allows for the reuse of materials from cases that do not pass quality control — reinforcing the company’s commitment to a sustainable production cycle.

The CDDA is proud to have Core Case as a member and thanks them for their continued commitment to ESG principles and innovation within the diamond drilling and exploration industry.
