Originally from Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Réal Lemoine is a passionate leader in the drilling industry, active in the field since the age of 16. With exceptional hands-on experience, he rose through the ranks to become Director of Operations before co-founding RJLL Drilling in 2014 with his partner Jérôme Lefebvre. Since then, three additional partners, Marc‑André Larouche, David Bradley and Nico Brière, have joined the team, strengthening a solid and visionary leadership group.
Since its first drilling project in 2017, RJLL Drilling has experienced remarkable growth, expanding from a single drill rig to a fleet of 45, notably through the strategic acquisition of Forage Nordik in 2024. Among its key achievements, the company successfully completed a helicopter-supported drilling contract in Finland in 2019, showcasing its ability to operate in complex and international environments.
Réal is driven by a deep passion for the outdoors, travel, and exploration. He places great importance on human connection, the health and safety of his teams, and the quality of service delivered to clients. A visionary and determined leader, he aims to continue expanding the company internationally while maintaining high standards that help clients achieve their goals with confidence.
RJLL Drilling has also developed sustainable partnerships with Indigenous communities, promoting training, employment, and the development of the local workforce.
