November Supplier Member of the Month: Black Diamond Drilling Tools Canada
The Canadian Diamond Drilling Association is pleased to announce Black Diamond Drilling Tools Canada as our November Supplier Member of the Month. We interviewed a member from their company to learn more about their services and what the CDDA membership means to them as a company. 
Can you tell us more about your company?
Black Diamond Drilling Tools Canada was established in 1999 with a 300,000 m² manufacturing base in China, employing over 1,000 staff. Their global operations include branches in Australia, Canada (Sudbury, ON since 2018), and Mongolia. They are focused on providing high-quality, cost-effective drilling tools directly from our own factory—removing middlemen to ensure reliability and value.
What Products and Services Do You Offer?
Black Diamond Drilling Tools Canada manufactures and supplies complete lines of Down-the-Hole (DTH), Reverse Circulation (RC), Rotary, and Top Hammer drilling tools. They serve the surface and underground mining, quarrying, and construction sectors. Offering customized design, R&D collaboration, and after-sales technical support.

Black Diamond Drilling Tools would like to recognize two of their employees.

Gaetan Doiron is the North American Sales Manager. Gaetan manages sales and technical support across Canada and the U.S. He brings over 13 years of hands-on experience in the drilling industry, having worked as a driller, superintendent, and supervisor before joining Black Diamond Drilling Tools. His deep understanding of field operations and customer needs allows him to provide practical, results-driven support to our partners.
Nick Culhane is the Business Development Manager. Nick recently joined Black Diamond Drilling Tools as our Business Development Manager. With over 27 years of experience in the drilling industry, he has spent the majority of his career with Boart Longyear, where he built a strong reputation for his technical expertise and customer-focused approach. Nick’s extensive knowledge of drilling tools, combined with his long-standing relationships across the sector, makes him a valuable addition to our growing Canadian team.
What do you value about being a CDDA Member?
