The Canadian Diamond Drilling Association is proud to celebrate the individuals who keep our industry moving forward.
Recently, Major Drilling celebrated Ron Rivett, Warehouse Coordinator at the Sudbury, Ontario branch as he begins his well-earned retirement. The Canadian team gathered to share a heartfelt farewell and to thank Ron for a career that has left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of working with him.
Ron’s journey in drilling began in 1974 with Midwest Drilling, a major Canadian and international company later acquired by Major Drilling in 1998. Over the decades, his work took him from the Flin Flon branch to the challenging conditions north of Yellowknife including permafrost and the early days of Canada’s diamond mining industry.
Today, the Canadian Diamond Drilling Association would like our members to join us in honouring Ron’s dedication, leadership, and more than five decades of service to the drilling industry.
Congratulations on your retirement, Ron and thank you for commitment.
