On September 30, the Canadian Diamond Drilling Association and our members come together to honour the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

This important day calls on Canadians to reflect on the history and ongoing impacts of residential schools, to listen to survivors and their families, and to take meaningful steps toward reconciliation. We thank Foraco for submitting this photo showing their recognition of this important day.

Today, CDDA members participated by weari
ng orange shirts, sharing stories, and engaging in reflection and awareness activities. These actions, though symbolic, carry a powerful message of solidarity with Indigenous communities and recognition of the truths that continue to shape our nation’s history. We thank Diafor for submitting this photo showing their recognition of this important day.
As an industry, we recognize the responsibility we hold in ensuring awareness and education are part of the conversation, not only on September 30, but every day. We thank Di-Corp for sharing photos of their crews honouring this day, helping to demonstrat
e how the diamond drilling industry is standing together in support of truth and reconciliation.
The CDDA encourages all members and industry partners to continue the work of listening, learning, and taking action.
Together, the diamond drilling industry can contribute to a future rooted in respect, awareness, and reconciliation. We also recognize Team Drilling for submitting their photo which highlights their commitment to this important day.
