July Manufacturer Member of the Month: Stockholm Precision Tools 

Stockholm Precision Tools is a self-made technology company with a strong focus on precision, innovation and field reliability. Just a few years ago, we were a team of fewer than 50 people; today, we have grown to more than 200 team members worldwide.

Canada is now one of our most important strategic priorities. As one of the global centres of diamond drilling activity, Canada represents the ideal place for SPT to keep developing technologies that help drilling companies, geologists and mining teams improve efficiency, accuracy and data confidence. Our goal is to make our Canadian office a leading global hub for SPT.

SPT designs and manufactures a strategic range of high-precision instruments for the drilling and mining industries. We develop the hardware, software and firmware behind our solutions, allowing us to control the full technology chain.
Our portfolio includes drill rig alignment systems to prevent error from the very beginning of a hole, trajectory measurement systems with survey-while-coring capabilities, core orientation tools, and structural logging solutions for geological core analysis, including alpha, beta and gamma angles, as well as dip and dip direction calculations. All data generated by our instruments can be correlated through our digital ecosystem, creating an auditable, traceable and reviewable chain of custody. In a new era where AI and advanced data analysis are becoming part of exploration workflows, SPT helps provide the reliable data foundation needed for reliable decisions.

We would like to spotlight Tetiana Lozynska, one of SPT’s rising talents. Despite her relatively short time with the company, Tetiana has grown quickly thanks to her dedication, discipline, and the strong mentorship of her colleagues. She represents the next generation of SPT professionals: curious, committed, and ready to contribute to the future of drilling technology.

Being a CDDA member is important because it connects SPT directly with the people and companies shaping the future of diamond drilling in Canada. For us, CDDA is not only a professional association; it is a community built around expertise, safety, innovation, and trust.
