The Canadian Diamond Drilling Association is pleased to announce our first-ever Supplier Member of the Month: CorePlan. To help us celebrate this recognition, we invited CorePlan to share some information about their company.
Meet CorePlan: Your digital operations partner for modern drilling
The way drilling programs run is changing. With tighter budgets and rising expectations, efficiency, collaboration, and accuracy matter more than ever. CorePlan is leading this shift. We give exploration companies and drilling contractors a complete operations platform built to tackle the real-world challenges of drilling. By replacing outdated spreadsheets and disconnected systems with one fully integrated solution, CorePlan makes managing exploration projects simpler, faster, and more transparent for everyone involved.
What we do
CorePlan brings two specialized, connected hubs to the table:
For Exploration Companies & Geology Teams: The CorePlan Mining Hub is an all-in-one toolbox for running drill programs from start to finish. It centralizes planning, rig and pad tracking, sample dispatch, reconciliation, and field activities, so geologists, field techs, and managers can make quick decisions, keep costs under control, and keep programs on schedule.
For Drilling Contractors: The CorePlan Drilling Hub digitizes the entire workflow from the field to the office. Contractors can capture drilling data, manage approvals, instantly update clients, track revenue, and handle invoicing – all in one place. It’s a smarter, faster, more profitable way to operate.
On top of this, CorePlan makes it easy to log incidents, inspections, and compliance data, even offline. A powerful built-in analytics engine turns that data into insights with simple drag-and-drop reports and dashboards.
About CorePlan
CorePlan’s story began in 2016, when founder Alex Goulios launched Spring Tech to build modern, cloud-based software. By 2019, the mission sharpened: help exploration projects stuck in outdated systems.
In 2020, we launched an offline-first app for drill plod capture and safety, quickly winning market adoption. By 2021, with 30 customers on board, the company rebranded as CorePlan. The growth continued – in 2023, we launched the world’s first app for Field Activities, scaling to over 10,000 users. In 2024, CorePlan 2.0 arrived, delivering a completely new experience, backed by a global team of 60+ people from 23 nationalities.
