Can you tell us more about your company?
Founded in 2012, Perth Western Australia, Axis Mining Technology was acquired by Orica Digital Solutions in 2022. The Axis suite of products offers advanced geospatial tools which allow mining companies to define and understand orebodies more accurately and efficiently; empowering customers to unlock their resources full potential with greater precision and predictability.
With an ongoing commitment to delivering integrated and innovative technology for their customers, Axis has grown into a trusted global supplier and manufacturer of instrumentation, data and drilling solutions for the mining, mineral exploration and drilling industries.
What Products and Services Do You Offer?
Axis offers advanced geospatial driller operated instruments and a cloud-based data management platform to help mining companies define and understand orebodies more accurately by acquiring various measurements within drill holes. Within the Axis product offering comes a rigorous onboarding process for drilling contractors to empower them to collect quality measurements for the end users.
The suite of instruments encompasses drill rig alignment, deviation measurement, core orientation referencing, and data management. Surveying tools such as the Champ™ Gyro range and Champ™ Ori are engineered to integrate into existing drilling workflows and deliver precision data. Whilst the AXIS Connect™ software enables users to accelerate the flow of data; connecting seamlessly to geological modelling suites for fast, confident decision-making throughout the entire drilling program.
The Axis team diligently walk customers through their scope of work and make recommendations as to which instrument and deployment method would work best for their project; staying connected and offering technical support, training and product replacements when required.
