Can you tell us more about your company?
For more than three decades, this family-owned Canadian business Lee Kerr Enterprises, has quietly built a reputation for quality, precision, and reliability within the diamond drilling industry. Established and incorporated in 1993, the company has grown from a small operation into an internationally recognized manufacturer, with its products now used in more than 80 countries around the world.
Located in Redbridge, Ontario, the company has operated from the same location since our inception, expanding our facility over the years while remaining true to our family-business values. Today, with a dedicated team of six employees, our company continues to focus on craftsmanship, innovation, and long-term relationships with our distributors.
What products and services do you offer?
Our business specializes in all particle wrenches which are made with 100% moulded parts designed by Lee Kerr. This ensures accuracy and consistency in all of our wrenches. Our unique carbide application process allows complete coverage of the entire surface area. This guarantees that the wrench will have a long life and maintain flawless performance for the duration of its use.
In addition to our signature wrench line, our company offers specialized services including the application of powdered tungsten carbide to rollers and other drilling components, as well as the installation of carbide inserts into chuck jaws. These services help extend equipment life, improve durability, and enhance productivity for drilling contractors around the world.
Our company’s roots trace back to our founder, who spent years building underground buggies for Jarvis Clark before launching the wrench business in the late 1980s. His hands-on experience in the drilling industry laid the foundation for a company focused on practical solutions and quality products designed to meet the needs of drillers.
While drilling technology continues to evolve, our company remains confident that the demand for dependable, precision-built tooling will continue for many years to come. Over time, our customer base has expanded significantly beyond Canada. What was once an 80 percent domestic business has evolved into an operation where approximately 70 to 75 percent of sales are now international. The launch of the company’s website in 2010 further strengthened our global reach, helping support an established network of distributors serving customers worldwide.
