New CDDA Safety Awards

The announcement of the New CDDA Safety Awards will take place at the 79th CDDA AGM and Convention Awards Gala on May 6, 2024, in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Members of the CDDA are invited to submit nominations for a company that has demonstrated exceptional safety practices. Self- Nominations are also encouraged!

To be eligible for nomination, the company must be a member of the CDDA and have showcased outstanding safety measures:

These measures may include:

1. Development of cutting-edge technology that enhances safety.
2. Implementation of innovative methods for documenting safety measures.
3. Introduction of novel safety training initiatives.
4. Adoption of preventive measures from past safety incidents.

There are three new safety award categories:

  1. Supplier Safety Award 
  2. Manufacturer Safety Award 
  3. Contractor Safety Award 

Nominate a deserving CDDA member company that exemplifies these exceptional safety practices by submitting your nomination before February 28, 2024.
